Brewtown is tucked in a small street (O' Connell st) just off the main Newtown street but it was buzzing full of people when my friend and I arrived there around 11am. There is a large shared space at the entrance and smaller tables along the other side. I absolutely love the chilled atmosphere that Brewtown has, it also has very simplistic decor like lamps hanging over the tables along the walls.
There is a breakfast and lunch menu, I am not too sure when the breakfast menu ends but we were handed both menus connected together. Both menus are quite similar, however the breakfast menu has lighter options. My friend and I decided to order the Corned beef hash (w/ garden peas, poached egg and parmesan crumbs- $15) and Beetroot cured ocean trout (w/ avocado smash, rye sour dough toast, dill, persian feta & beetroot relish- $16.5). And of course I had to order a cronut!!
Now to the food...
Corned beef hash with garden peas, poached egg and parmesan crumbs | $15
Beetroot cured ocean trout, avocado smash, rye sour dough toast, dill, persian feta & beetroot relish | $16.5
Jam filled cronut
A big thank you to my food buddy, Chloe, for helping me take some of the pictures and teaching me how to properly use my camera :)
Happy eating x
