Excuse me, what is matcha?
Calling all green tea lovers!! This is the place for you :)
I saw heaps of pictures of this cafe on instagram, so I had to go check it out myself. Chanoma Matcha Cafe is located inside Regents Place (close to George St cinema). Being the lost people we are, my friend and I had no idea what matcha was- but it was in every single item on the menu! So we asked one of the staff and soon discovered that matcha is green tea! :)
We ended up ordering the Matcha Fruit Parfait to share, my friend also ordered the Matcha Cream Latte (cold) and I ordered the Azuki Kuromitsu Latte (hot).
The decor of the cafe is really cute and very brightly lit, it is definitely a good place to hang out with friends and family.

Matcha Fruit Parfait | Matcha soft ice cream, rice cakes, pocky chocolate, cornflakes, ice corn, fruit cocktail, whipped cream & brown sugar | $9.50
Azuki Kuromitsu Latte | Araki Latte with whipped cream & brown sugar syrup | Hot $5.50 | Ice $6.00
Overall verdict:
The Matcha Fruit Parfait started off being really good but after awhile it got a bit too sweet and we were a bit too full from lunch already, so I recommend you share this with a larger group.
The Azuki Kuromitsu was extremely bitter, even with the syrup, so I recommend you ask for more syrup or add some sugar satchels into the drink.
